My first time ever took part in an international photography contest. Here are my entries:

“Hello”- I was just wandering around Mardi Gras and she came up in front of me and posed and went on away. She was one of the many people in Australia who enlightened my understanding of the transgenders in specific and the LGBTs in general. They showed me how happiness looked like. 2.03.2013 Sydney, Australia

“1000 kyat” – After performing the well-known fisher’s pose of Inle Lake, he approached our boat and posed with the fish, and finally asked for ‘money’. 18.02.2016 Myanmar

“The Waitress” – This trans lady hold her face and ran away into the kitchen when I asked her to let me take a photograph. After awhile, she posed and I quickly got two shots before leaving on the night bus. They say Myanmar is soon blooming its economics. I wonder how the social awareness of the minority will grow. This was at a stop on our way back from Nyaung Shwe to Yangon. 18.02.2016 Myanmar

“Reading the sound” – This boy stood at the speaker, which was playing songs about Spring and Christian beautiful things, for a very long time before the ceremony started. This was taken on the year-end celebration at Nhat Hong Centre, a school for visually-impared students. 24.01.2016 Vietnam (it was the year-end season of the Lunar Calendar)

“Hey, ain’t it fun?” – Two visually-impared students got rewared and chatting excitingly during their school year-end ceremony. 24.01.2016 Vietnam (it was the year-end season of the Lunar Calendar)

“I need a massage!” – My mom rested in her bed while getting massaged from the part-time housemaid. She’s a typical Vietnamese mother who had worked hard all her life to build the house and still does housework everyday and complains how tired she is. 10.07.2014 Vietnam
